With a background in business transformation, project management, and operational governance, she leads NCDF’s finance and administrative operations. She holds an MBA from Cranfield University and certifications in Prince2, Six Sigma, and strategic project delivery. Otega brings strategic insight and rigor to financial planning, risk control, and organizational performance at NCDF Invest.
Executive Director, Public Sector & Partnerships
Mr. Tajudeen Kareem is a strategic communication expert with more than 35 years of experience in media, policy analysis, and public sector advocacy. His career spans print and electronic journalism, government engagement, and national development initiatives. He has been instrumental in driving policy frameworks for agriculture, communications, and public health—including the GSM rollout and Covid-19 national strategy. As Executive Director for Public Sector & Partnerships, he leads NCDF’s stakeholder engagement, intergovernmental collaborations, and public-private investment alliances.
Group Managing Director & Chief Investment Officer (CIO)
Mr. Nicholas John Connell leads NCDF Invest’s overall investment strategy and performance as Group Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer. With deep expertise in private equity, venture capital, and risk management, he brings a disciplined and mission-driven approach to fund structuring, portfolio oversight, and capital deployment. Mr. Connell is instrumental in shaping NCDF’s investment policies across sectors such as renewable energy, healthcare, housing, fintech, and sustainable agriculture. His leadership ensures alignment between profitability, ESG impact, and long-term institutional growth.
Executive Director, Operations / Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Charles Idowu Ademilua serves as NCDF Invest’s Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Operations. A board-certified medical doctor with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Ademilua brings a unique blend of clinical excellence and institutional operations expertise. He leads internal operations, investment execution, and regulatory compliance while overseeing NCDF’s healthcare-related projects. He plays a key role in aligning infrastructure, healthcare, housing, and impact programs with Nigeria’s development priorities and SDG 3.
Non-Executive Director
Mrs. Uta Nkposong is a veteran finance and investment leader with decades of experience in banking, public finance, and private equity. She previously served as Regional Business Head and Head of Public Sector (West) at Equatorial Trust Bank and Director of Investment & Private Equity at the Nigeria Agricultural and Co-operative Bank Ltd. A chartered accountant and certified banker, Mrs. Nkposong provides strong fiduciary oversight and strategic guidance to NCDF Invest’s governance and sectoral investment alignment.

He is the co-founder of Community Routes (CLG), the UK’s first community-operated enterprise, and brings decades of experience in social entrepreneurship, public policy, and grassroots economic empowerment.
